The above staff maintains over 600 public assessment maps. February 2007 we started maintaining the county maps using a digital format called GIS. February 2008 the county GIS web page was published to the internet. There is a quick link to this site on our home page.
Through the mapping department, you can purchase shapefiles for our county. The cost is $100.00 per municipality and you receive the polygon and centerline layers on CD. The polygon layer is attributed with the assessment information. Requests can be mailed to the County of Butler, P. O. Box 1208, Butler, PA 16003-1208 - Attention the Mapping Department. Submit checks payable to the County of Butler along with a return address and contact phone number.
